Suggested First Tasks
We reached out to PREreview and asked them what they suggest freshly minted rigor champions interested in becoming involved with their community do to get a sense of the culture and vision. These are listed below, and we strongly recommend giving them a shot!
Sign up for the newsletter to learn about upcoming live-streamed preprint journal clubs you can join!
The quickest and easiest way to stay up-to-date about everything going on at PREreview (such as its live journal clubs, application windows, or changes to their policies and platforms) is by simply signing up for their newsletter here.
Request to join PREreview Club!
There are a number of sub-groups that specialize in reviewing preprints that revolve around a particular topic. These groups are called clubs, and you can view (and apply to join them) here.
Follow the Open Reviewers Toolkit to create a PREreview of a preprint!
PREreview offers a number of guides to help you learn how to go about reviewing preprints, and these are a great way to get started contributing to the project. Among these guides are the Reviewers Guide, the Bias Reflection Guide, and the Review Assessment Rubric.
Let’s work together to make science faster and better!
