This November, the Community for Rigor flocked to the 2023 annual meeting of the Society of Neuroscience (SfN) for a week of tabling, conversation, and so, so, so many socks.

Thanks to all the wonderful people who came by our booth to talk about rigor, make some coffee, and test our Road 2 Rigor demo unit, we signed up over 3% of attendees at one of the largest conferences held in North America to join the Community for Rigor!

On Sunday night, we held a social near the Convention Center where Konrad and special guest Dr. Megan Hagenauer talked about mistakes, research fails, and the need for rigor education.

We continued tabling through the week, playing some games of Rigor Jeoparty! (a legally distinct game) with new friends and collaborators.

Tuesday night we attended Dr. Hagenauer’s own event, The Confound Hour! We shared our mistakes and shortcomings, laughed, and cheered on the people brave enough to share their research failures!

We’re back home and already excited about what we’re going to bring to SfN 2024. See you in Chicago!
